    I'm on a bit of a Northwest Oktoberfest kick this season. This one's pretty damn good! Fall weather, football, and Oktoberfest beers. My favorite time of year. Cheers!

    it is and it isn't most bottle shops I have seen carrying it the stuff is old but in a IRS or RIS that shouldn't matter my bottle. shop actually carries nothing from Hoppin Frog however Ohio has an ABV % limit on beers they are allowed to sell i believe I have never seen anything over 11%

    I had a recent bottle and also picked up an artiificial vanilla taste. I didn't drainpour but it certainly wasn't as good as I'd remembered. Had it in San Diego about a year and a half ago and at the time, thought it was amazing. I wonder if they changed the recipe to expand production. (They recently expanded distribution to include Washington state, which is how I got the latter bottle.)

    That would make sense. Certainly tasted like vanilla extract rather than vanilla pods.
