    wow, that's ironic.. I have been thinkin about Lowenbrau for about 2 days now... it must be that time of year .... best Helles lager IMO...

    I was there last week. Unfortunately only had time for 2 quick beers, it was our first stop of the day. I had boogoop and old worster. I'm jealous that you can go there so often!

    I love Helles', and Lowenbrau is one of my favorite beers and is probably my 2nd favorite session beer after Spaten Original.

    Well this must be doubly ironic. I bought a can of Löwenbräu Original today since I hadn't had it in a while. It's a nice helles lager, but it's a bit too sweet for my taste just as I remembered it, and I still prefer Spaten München over it. In my book Spaten is the best helles lager.
