for the bottle share, you have to bring something that was connected to the original bif (bottle from your original sender, bottle from bif within a box, or trade with someone that stemmed from the bif). we could do a beerfest: we have a couple homebrewers, and threefishes already has a reputation.

This meet up really sounds intriguing. It's 12 hour drive for me. If you guys decide on a firm date, I could possibly see myself driving over for it.

I've powered through 3/5 of the awesome beers that CLaBarre sent me - I'm not very good at drinking down my cellar!

It's a very comfy couch, but you and Boris are going to leave much closer friends than when you arrive.

My sarcophagus is pretty heavy - I hope your foundation is solid.

I'm 3 hours away and have driven to Philly a million times. Depending on date, count me in

I started home brewing a few months back and taking the plunge into all grain very soon. I think my first batch will be a bourbon barrel porter which should be ready for consumption around end of December (although a bit young). I can definitely bring some stuff if some of the guys want to risk trying a n00bs beer.

The main problem is that ThreeFishes leaves the 4th, and I assume many of us would want to meet on the 5th, since it's a Saturday and many of us have work, etc...

This makes me sad because I live far away from Philly. I will be with you all in spirit and drunkeness though.

    Don't be sad.
If it would make you feel better, you could ship in a bottle or 2, and we could take a picture of everyone enjoying it and send the picture to you. It would be just like if you were there. Kind of.

My calendar says the 4th is a Saturday. I'm leaving to drive back on the 4th, but I don't need to be back in FLA until the 7th. I could possibly stay an extra day.

Nothing beats an 18 hour drive with a hangover.

I can probably bring some of my homebrewed cider. It's about 2 or 3 years old now, but gets better with age.

Considering I never let her drive, she would probably welcome the chance to take the wheel. I need to ask her to drive the first leg now before she knows why I want her to do it.

Speaking of Philly, I see that Tired Hands has a couple of horror-themed beers on tap right now, with more on the way...would anyone be interested in swapping growlers of them for some Columbus stuff? The Thing, Pinhead and the upcoming Herbert West and Freddy are all things that I need to have in my life!
