Tallgrass: 8 Bit, Velvet Rooset and Oasis are their best. Free State does solid stuff.

Tallgrass has been my go to stuff lately. Even their IPA is very solid. Oasis has found a constant home in my fridge, as well.

Not so local, but you can also get Odell, Hopping Frog & Choc among others in KS

I definitely recommend any of the Boulevard smokestack releases (their 750ml bottles). Depending on where in KS, you may be able to find some of the more limited release stuff (like Rye-on-Rye, which came out in March) still sitting on the shelves.

Tallgrass is available in SE Pennsylvania, for what it's worth.

I'm not really familiar with the local breweries in Kansas, but Odell would be my top pick for a regional.

free state definitely has some very good beers, esp on tap and the brewpub is a blast to visit. not a huge fan of the food but it's a really cool building and all the people there, employees, patrons, etc are extremely nice.
