    Well first day back from an extended holiday and it seems I am in the middle of a nightmare at work on the verge of losing my job, due to an argument from 4 weeks ago. From waiting for a raise to praying I don't get fired. Go figure. This seems like the perfectly named brew for today:

    Thanks @jzeilinger, it's not too bad. There is some strange flavor right at the end I can't quite put my finger on.

    Sweet, sweet barley wine nectar. This is damn good. IMO no burn at all, very smooth. Well done Goose. Keep banging these BA brews. I'll say it tho, no its not King Henry, & goddamnit it doesn't need to be. KH was magical, but something magical can't happen all the time, or else it would just be good. Maybe they wll make the King again someday, but if they can make this every year, I'd be a happy beer nerd.


    Now we just have to work on you supplying your core Midwest fans better...

    Bottles are $11.99 and cans are $13.99 in Orange County or around that. I usually buy Big Eye at $9.99 so I am not exactly sure.

    I love Big Eye. Centennial hops, mmm I likey. Big Eye runs that price, but Sculpin is 15.99 a sixer here. To be honest, I prefer Big Eye in the Winter and Sculpin in the Summer. Don't get me twisted, I love Sculpin. It's just that for that price, I don't know how long it's been sitting.
