As promised, here's the pic (of the flight):

In order of consumption: Wookie Jack, XVII Anniversary, Velvet Merkin, and FBS. Delicious all around.

I tried out a full glass of Velvet Merkin afterwards. It was good; really, really good. However, as a newbie to the bourbon barrel scene, I have to say it really highlighted just how amazingly good BCBS really is. Merkin was good; BCBS is phenomenal.

If you're in RI/SE CT, they've got 5 Firestone Walker taps right now at the Malted Barley. That's not something we can normally get in this area, so drink up while you can!

    Cheers all!

On vacation, so I've been working may way through a bunch of new beers. Hit the local stores to see whats good and then a couple of bars. My wife and I noted earlier that all of the stops we've made and the purchases so far seem to be alcohol related for some reason. Two brewerys and a winery. A box full of beer and wine that we've picked up along the way.

Going with a Molotov Cocktail before getting ready for dinner (hotel glassware)...

My next victim. Founders Breakfast Stout. Not the "infected" one.

EDIT: Maybe this is infected.... Or it's because I had a BCBCS first.

Thank you. It's a lot of work, but it's also very gratifying when you finish it. Good luck with yours.

Perfect for taking the winter chill off, after taking the dogs for a lazy walk through the woods.

    Happy Friday crew!

First post, Rather new to the craft world and might I say it has been amazing so far, had a duvel on lunch today... wow the yeast is right up front fruity/sweetness is right behind (almost grapefruit) then it finishes lightly bitter and dry. can't wait to do that again. There is a ST Choklat waiting at the house and a cinnamon roll'd WnB for breakfast tomorrow!
