i thought you were going to say all the beer he sent me from the original bif. and diapers.

 

so im always willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt. he sent me a large box in the original bif with some thoughtful add-ins as well as a little note, made a number of trades, and also particpated in the bif in a bif in a box. why would he all of a sudden make a change and be like, im going to dick everyone over now. i thought maybe something had happened to him so i sent him a message here checking in, making sure he was ok, letting him know people are upset, etc., but i didnt hear back.

do people really try and build up cred and then make a complete 180? something just doesnt make sense.

I noticed a couple of the bottles were the ones I sent him in the box. White Chocolate specifically. Shoulda sent the box to someone else first.

 

You just never know.
It would be like inviting 20 people to a fake bottle share, drugging the mac 'n cheese and then making off with hundreds of bottles of beer.

 

I started to think about that aspect as well. But the fact still remains that he screwed over CTJman and Dicers. Until he makes right on that its a douche move.

i totally agree. im saying that i hope he makes good on his debts, thats all, and that he didnt seem like the type of guy to do it. if im gonna be a dick, im being a dick from the very beginning.

 

I tend to agree with this... As a matter of fact he sent me 2 different killer trade boxes before this unfortunate turn of events. We had traded a few times in the months before with him always blowing up my porch with some hidden want.

He actually called me on the phone right before I sent out his last box right before Thanksgiving (the one I haven't gotten my goods from) and told me about himself finding a case of BCBS in the backwoods of TN for 14 a 4pack and asked if I wanted some extras. His communication was fantastic, his boxes were fantastic. We had a wager on the World Series which landed me some great beer we would text a few times a week....

This sounds like a sloppy breakup and its stupid. I would have just wished he came on here and said hey man I'll send you your beers back or cash for them w/e but instead he tucked and ran away with Jared and my beers.

For everyone going to the share tomorrow- have a great time you lucky bastards. While I am working, Ill be wondering what you're drinking. When I get off of work, I'll look at Untappd and probably hate all of you for a little bit. But as I am watching football and drinking beers from my cellar to numb the pain, I'll forgive you. Maybe. I probably will.
