    Homebrew coffee stout.
After a quick hike this morning, just right.

    Cheers all

    Normally, I wouldn't advise following up a huge, BBA stout with a 2-year-old 15% abv Barleywine…

    …but today isn't a normal day.

    Cheers, all!

Keyed-up for today's games. Got the CBS pre-game on - are you guys seeing Shannon Sharpe with that bowtie and blue velour jacket? He looks like an idiot. And OMG, how about Collinsworth last night? What was up with that vest he was wearing? Jesus Christ. Don't the networks provide professionals to dress these guys? And believe me, I'm no fashionista, but they just look(ed) stupid (not that I'd say it to their faces, mind you - lol - well, ok, maybe to Collinsworth... :stuck_out_tongue:).

And, lest I be remiss: Happy Birthday @RPH2327 - cheers, dude!

I did this not long ago with Central Waters BBSA thrown in.
    Hope you enjoy your experiment.

Go figure. Snow and really freezing cold, now looking at temps near 50 with rain tomorrow.

Happy Sunday BA! Thought I would put in my two cents on Boston Lager what with all the posts on Sam Adams and Boston Lager this week. Meh. It's pretty sweet. I am reading the style guidelines and am finding that the european style is sweeter than the american style. So I guess it could be real sweet.

Maybe the following statement is unfair since I've been enjoying some very big stouts recently (FIS, PWs Abduction, BCBS/BCBCS). This beer was a drainpour - foul tasting and stank!

I was also off-put by the very old quote on the cap - Stone was ranked the best brewery in 2003? Come on fellas, you guys are good (heartily enjoy Stone IPAs) but it's now 2014. Tons of great breweries have opened since then. Let's move on.

Decided to follow this poor porter with a porter I recently received as an extra in a trade w/a great BA in NC:

To be honest, I've not had a lot of experience w/porters, but this one is very drinkable. Thanks again Mitchell!
