Black Tuesday was the first bottle opened, and there was still a little left at the end of the night if that gives you and idea of the quality.
There wasn't a dud in the bunch, couple of styles that I don't love, but still good beer. Even the 8 month old Pliny was good!

Ok… that sounded much creepier than I intended. But the fact remains

 

So I'm just now coming off of the high of watching my favorite college football team win the national championship. GO NOLES!!! So since I'm buzzed and in a great mood, let's give away some great beer, shall we? This LIF will involve one question: who is my favorite Florida State player of all time? Everyone gets one guess and then I'll start with hints at which point everyone will get another guess. Won't be hard to figure out once I start giving hints. Winner will get a bottle of CW 16 when I get it at the end of the month, along with some other delicious goodies (wants if I can hit them). So have at it guys!! I won't be checking this until tomorrow so pardon me if the hints don't come fast and furious. Cheers!!

 

Man, that Pliny got older fast. Pretty sure it was right around 5 months old (and kept in a cold refrigerator). It was tasty, but the difference with the fresh was more pronounced than I had expected (which is why I brought it... It was fun to check). I will continue my practice of not sending Pliny that will be more than a month old when it lands if at all possible. Old Pliny was tasty, but it did really fall off.
