Earl of Brixon by Short's -- packin' some really nice flavor at 3.9%. No images of the label online, so. No pics for you!

Been listening to Goo Goo Dolls. They're still as good as ever.

Honey Badger, also by Short's, is on deck.

I stopped by my local beer store today actually to pick up a bottle of bourbon to make bourbon chicken, since they're also a state liquor agency. I happened (big surprise) to pass by their growler fill station and oh look what they had. If you think it's good from a can... coming fresh from the tap line OMG

This is very refreshing stuff. I'll probably get a load of heat for saying this but, the smell reminds me ever so slightly of Sucks upon first pur, albiet much lighter and much less intense. Has that pineapple/tropical thing goin on. Either way this is a solid brew and super sessionable.

Day off on a snowy day... Anyone else know the frustration of hearing the snow plow go down your street and know you have to shovel yourself out yet again??? Oh brother...
Simple recipe. Heat up some rice, top with your favorite cheese and dump some chili on it. That paired with a world class coffee stout and you will be in heaven even if the snow is raging!
    That's my day today.

    Cheers y'all!

Enjoying a day of cleaning and listening to music while my mom is watching my boys (I only work when it snows in the winter.... Which this winter is pretty much full time!)

What goes better with cleaning then Abrasive, well I will tell you what PsuedoSue!

And what is better then PsuedoSue? Being able to take the prettiest girl around for a run, she is tired and annoyed that I made her stand up for that pic!

As I understand it this is the more mainstream offering from Pilsner Urquell (SABMiller). It's a tasty pale lager with a decent amount of hop flavor but a milder bitterness compared to PU. It's lightly amber colored though, in contrast to PU which is more of a true gold color. The picture doesn't show it but it's lightly amber, similar to Zlatopramen. I wonder if they use some münchener malt to give it that flavor, or if its caramel malt. It's not a sweet beer though, it's very nicely balanced imo, and I can see why this would be a popular beer in the Czech republic as a mainstream beer.
