    I've been battling the flu for a week, and thus have had all of one beer that entire time (a Shorts Huma-Lupa-Licious on tap at the Detroit airport during a layover). Today I've avoided medicine, and while still coughing, feel well enough to have a single beer.

    Plus, I had to undo the snow barricade at the end of my driveway from the snowplows. I deserved a reward for that. To celebrate, I'm popping my second Hi-Res, and I broiled a steak. No, it's not the same as grilling it, but again, the weather isn't exactly supportive of that. Too bad the pic doesn't show the steam rising from the steak.

    Hi-Res....so juicy. Juice is supposed to be good for you when you're sick, right?

    The 2XONE is down the hatch, and a great beer I might add. Has a lot in common with Troegs IPA (Imperial Pale Ale).
