    Started off with a single Two Hearted to continue my exploration of pale ales. After that some Weihenstephaner Hefe. Both excellent though the hefe is a a while past its best by and the flavors don't pop like I expected.

    More to do with our onerus laws & regulations in state; I'm betting. We miss out on plenty of limited releases because every beer must be approved at state level prior to sale. Not a winner for brewers or anyone trying to make money as far as limited releases go. I hope progress will render this a bad joke soon, I doubt it. Our legislators like to spend energy on silly shit that gets struck down by appelate courts & on up.

    Although the state Goverment claims they are pro-business, archaic laws are here in prollific numbers. We only legalized homebrewing ayear or two ago ( although stores were up & running prior to that )...

    I drove down to Russian River and picked up a bunch of bottles today. Had a consecration, went to a buddy's and drank some of his home brew (saison and sours) that's just amazing. Came home and cracked a three philosophers. .it was a good day!
