    Ate myself nearly into a food coma last night at Next, Chicago Steak House menu. Opted for the juice pairings because we could not possibly get through all those courses with booze as well! So, Sunday is now "make up for not drinking all weekend" day! Trying this, it's okay, hoped for more of a hit over the head with the citrus though. . .

    Ah, good musical choice for my working Sunday morning. Listening now, to be followed by Michigan. Too bad he didn't stick to the 50 states idea.

    Last night was good stuff at The Rare Barrel. Got a draft of the amazing Home Sour Home, a howler of Proportional Response, had two Faction IPAs -- Hop Soup and Winter -- and picked up my bottles of SKUs Me and Home Sour Home.

    It's brewed on the East Coast.
    It's only available in cans and on draft.
    It comes in a classically designed B&W can.
    It's preferred serving method is straight from the can.

    a 2010 Nemesis stright from the cellar (nice and cool from sitting basement for 3.5 yrs) wow this Barleywine is still hoppy its mellowed a bit and became more sweet than malty but the hops in this was a surprise

    Been spending a lot of time today taking care of my daughter (9 months old) and son (4 1/2 years), but it's very rewarding. And....I have new beer. :slight_smile: (I actually took an adorable pic of my daughter with my last beer, but I don't post pics of my kids online; just my own paranoia, sorry.)

    As to the beer; let's get it on!

    Moved on to some heavier music. If you're not familiar with this song, the last two minutes are mind-fuckingly awesome. (And yes, I just invented the word "fuckingly." We liberal arts majors can do that.)



    Post Script: I just added this beer to Untappd; it literally didn't exist on there. I've added things on BA before, but never on that app. Pretty cool!
