Really impressed with this. Nice malty backbone with a hoppy bubblegum finish. Win for Clown Shoes!

 

Don't know where in PA you are, but Vintage Estates in Boardman, OH still had 5 cases yesterday

 

Great Lakes Chilliwave. Yum - like a high alcohol beer fruit cocktail.

 

Stochasticity Project Grapefruit IPA. This is a brew that lives up to it's name. It's very good now sitting indoors looking at the foot and 1/2 of snow in the yard. It will be even better out on the deck in warm weather. I hope it wil still be around and fresh than.

 

I'm a few minutes outside of Philadelphia, but everyone I talked to said cases started flying off the shelves lately. I wasn't taking chances, lol.

Perhaps people have been using it as trade bait? I'm not sure, but Troegs is ALWAYS a big seller here, even their lesser-praised releases.

and now for something completely different! recommendation by Rick from Lone Star Beverages in Carrollton, TX when I was in town a couple weeks back. apparently it was inspired by Hawaiian pizza, as it's essentially a golden ale flavored with pineapple & jalapeno. The heat is subtle though it builds over time, the pineapple is more of a trace adjunct as opposed to being front & center. I keep sipping it as it is interesting, but this beer is proof that not all 750ml bottles are for 1 person to drink in 1 sitting lol

This brew is keeping me warm, and as it warms up it keeps me feeling very nicely.
