5 gallon batch?

 

Took advantage of the snow and nothing else to do. Double Sunshine vs. On the Wings vs. Heady. I had been on a quest to get Lawson's and Heady side by side. The nose on double is the my favorite for any DIPA, but Heady is still my favorite overall. All three excellent. Cheers

Enjoying an Anchor Liberty Ale. Bought it Friday and asked the clerk if they knew the bottling code for Anchor. 3MT was on the label. I knew the 3 was for 2013, but wasn't sure about the MT. The clerk told me the distributor came in and cleared out their out of date stock recently, so I bought it for that reason. Then when I checked on the fresh beer only website I find out that the M stands for March and the T for day 26. So March 26th, 2013 was when the Liberty Ale I purchased was bottled. Almost a year ago. Me thinks either the clerk was lying or the distributor doesn't know what's fresh or what's not. Still, a year later, it has held up fairly well.

 

More of the Dirt Wolf. Still drinking very, very well even though they have been in the beer fridge a few months now.

 

You gave me the inspiration to drink mine that I was aging... On purpose.

Thanks @ZachKelly for giving me the inspiration to drink this Wolf. It has a drink by either March 1 or May 1. Either way, this is still drinking fine, actually this is tasting like Hi-Res and a Tasmanian IPA "half n half", with more of a lingering bitter finish. This ages nicely.

Today is the Fasching festival in my town. Carnival in Germany. Had a few local pils and went home. Went outside with the dog about 2015 local time and saw a couple practicing making babies in the empty lot behind my house. In honor of her riding him like a champ.

 

Snow day here too. Having one of my fav APA's while getting my ass handed to me at Battlefield 3

This is such a great beer. I have no problem killing 22 - 66 ounces of this fine Stout. All this snow we have reminds me of this Album.
