Had some of this bad boy the other night. Although the reviews were all over the map I really enjoyed it. My first Jester King offering and hopefully not my last!

Back from a few days vacation in the Bahamas. The beer was better than I expected. These were my favorites...

Kalik tasted better, to me, than most American lagers. Perfect for the beach
    [IMG]

Kalik and grilled conch for my wife, I had a Kalik and the red snapper. Excellent!

The Guiness Foreign Extra bottled in the Bahamas is excellent.

Strongback Stout is the best beer I had in the Bahamas.

And, enjoying a Strongback outside the Bahamian Brewery outlet store in Nassau. The wonderful woman behind the counter demonstrated her skill at opening the bottle with a stapler. Classic.

Finally cracked one of these. Awesome beer as expected. I like that the bourbon is there but not as aggressive as fresh BCBS.

I prefer the Barleywine over BCBS myself.

Another snow day and another Imperial IPA...I'm enjoying the days off but can't continue to drink this way if I don't work...of course on a brighter note...I can't drink like this when I'm working either!

Music from a Concert for George...it seemed fitting considering the brew...चियर्स (ciyarsa or cheers)

It was 70 degrees out literally two days ago. Now, there is snow everywhere. Virginia, for as much as I love you, I don't understand why you hate me so. But, I remain in high spirits, as I've had a productive day of errands thus far, and we're expecting another decent thaw this weekend.

For everyone that is familiar with my unbridled passion for cheap American Lagers, trust me, this ranks in the top tier. Dirt cheap (around PBR or cheaper pricing) with a much smoother mouthfeel and a much more pleasant after taste. I hope it starts blowing up around here because it may just become my go to AAL.

**** Sparrer may be the best band in history to have a beer to. Cheers!

Beer #3, NG Stone Soup (bottled 6/3/13) Finished this one, tasted of bananas and cloves. Not bad need to revisit a fresher bottle.

In exactly 2 hours and 48 minutes, or 10,080 seconds, I will be cracking open a nice Founders Breakfast Stout. I know it's dinner time, but I am a rebel like that.

Beer #4 21st Amendement Back in Black (canned 8/25/13) It's ok, not as good as the NG BlackTop or Indeed Midnight Ryder I had last week.

Drinking a nooner session ipa by seirra nevada. This one is good, nice tropical taste with big grapefruit and perfect bitterness. Best of the new 4-way ipa box imo. Cheers!
