It wasn't a barley mow beer. Barley mow brought s'mores and the black IPA, forget the name. It was an Arizona wilderness beer. It was a barley wine aged in PVW barrel with Cabernet (?) grapes. They tapped it after both funky Buddha kegs kicked. I was pouring for Westbrook. They were beside us on one side and barley mow was on the other. After that keg kicked that was all they had. They put some other CCB on after that.

    This is the beer

Isn't that what you are talking about?

I had a ton of good beer but I had a friend hand me a tiny sample of bourbon vanilla dark lord while I was pouring. I hate to hype but holy hell it was good.

7th sun watermelon Berliner was perfect for the weather, this was my first taste of zombie dust and it lives up to the hype, the s'mores stout was interesting, MAZURT coffee barleywine was awesome, we were right by founders when they blew the horn for KBS.... Looking back I actually got to try a bunch of stuff

My top 2 from what I got to taste was Mornin Delight and Mexican Cake(loved the balance with the spice!) I also had a ccb strawberry shortcake lager that hit the spot with the given weather!

Out of a bottle, KBBS, Vanilla Bean Assassin, a first year Black Note and Cable Car!

That name sounds familiar and it was a barley wine (maybe why I thought barley mow). That stuff was tasty

yeah we sent a keg of Hunahpu's to Arizona Wilderness, they then emptied it and then filled it back up with that. pretty awesome beer. those guys seem really cool, although they weren't able to make it this year.

The most surprising pour, to me, was the Apple Pie Cider. That was delicious.

Also really liked Tequila Sunrise, BA Penultimate Push, Love's Leopold, 2014 Hunahpu, and the Mazurt TN Whiskey barrel beer. The Margarita Gose positively surprised me as well. Some very nice homebrews, too.

I thought the J Wakefield Berliners I tried (I think it was Kiwi and Krypto) had a bit of a metallic edge to them, but were still good.

Just some growing pains for the Buddha. They'll get there. They went from a small shoebox and now they're brewing beers that are getting national recognition. I think by the end of this year, the Brewery will be doing stuff to the level of what the Buddha became known for (and the Brewery's recent batches of Sex Panther, Fire in the Hole, and Bonita were all very good).

On a side note, Buddha lounge taps their Last Snow tonight!

Agree with most of the above.

The surprise beer of the day for me was from Rivertowne Brewing out of Pittsburgh. They had a pineapple Kolsch called Hala Kahiki that was damn tasty and absolutely made for drinking in Florida. Heard they distribute to a few parts of the state, but not Jacksonville.

J Wakefield stole the show for me. I had all of their Berliners. Miami Madness was the best beer there. You're a fool if you think otherwise. :grinning: Mornin' Delight was also fantastic. I only got to try a few other beers on tap, but I was content with that. The bottle shares are better anyways especially when you can't move outside of the tents in the back.
