Anyone hear anything about the new years memberships yet?
After having these beers from a trade I really want in this club.

    Aw damn....
I'll have to just get into CCB's club and set up some trades then.
Curious, did they offer any to the public, or were they all re-upped?

There were some available, they did a lottery.

There were roughly 100 new spots available this year. From what I heard, ~2,000 people signed up for the lottery.

Yep. That's around 5% of the people who signed up got in. It was a hard ticket to get even if you signed up.

Oh damn, thanks for the info guys!
I wonder if CCB will do a lottery as well, can't imagine too many people quitting.

...if only Huna itself was good. Prime example of (somewhat) rare not necessarily = good.

Much better, but I still don't think much of that base beer...Zhukov included. I've enjoyed their hoppy and fruity beers and the ones based on Maduro but I just don't care for those stouts. The variants are just making something so-so better. I feel the same way about Dark Lord, so I suppose I might be painting myself into a hype-free corner :stuck_out_tongue:

Ya, some like some brews, some don't like some. I personally don't like Dark Lord, except for the vanilla barrels, but I really like Huna. I don't like CFH; and most people would slap me around about that.

To each his own. Domingo, you could probably school a lot of people on lagers, some people like sours/loon, some like certain BA stouts.
