I think I came in with really high expectations for this one. It's a very solid beer with a unique taste. Great IPA, but doesn't stand with Jai Alai, Sculpin, or 60 Minute in my opinion. Though I've got another one in the fridge so we'll see how the second one goes down.

Took off work early to mow and trim the lawn, supposed to be sunny and 83 today! mowed the lawn in a light sprinkle, sun finally came out and did my trimming, now it has clouded back up and looks like more rain! (so much for sunny and 83) Still enjoying the day, regardless, and a Tallgrass Halcyon Unfiltered Wheat.

 

I think it is a nice balance. I like my bourbon, and it is pretty prominent, but I think a little less so than Wulver. If you reversed the coffee to bourbon flavor ratio in 14 KBS that is my best way to describe it.

 

@BeerKangaroo I Went down to the Kawkawlin River by my house looking for warm water species , not a bite, picked up a single at the corner store , they are getting into the mix a six game now,,,to me the mix a six's recently have been just beers stores have a hard time getting rid of. Not sure sure how i feel about individual pricing per say vs the six costing a flat price.

Doing a bit of day drinking while watching the Man City v. Aston Villa match, with the assistance of our friends at Cisco, who've provided us with this season's iteration of Summer of Lager. Very nice. Here's one in it's natural habitat:



Here at the end of the season I'm hoping for Manchester to win this match and at least pull a draw on the last so as to prevent Liverpool FC from winning the Premier League title, not because I love Man City but because I'm a spiteful Everton supporter. This is far more info than you need, of course, so let's just say, hey, Manchester, you're alright. You gave us the Buzzers, for instance.

Being a homer today at the beer store, bought a Coast 32/50 Kolsch, and sixers of Westbrook Gose and One Claw. Sitting on my back deck under an umbrella enjoying a cool delicious after working in the yard all day.
