Getting ready to grill some dinner.

    Fuck yes.
    Man, that is gorgeous.

Now, I need a beer to accompany this feast-in-the-making.

    Wait, what's that?
Big thanks to Nate @Shroud0fdoom for sending this gift. This beer is as good as advertised; best new IPA/DIPA I've had in a long while. Great nose, great hop profile for what is technically a single-hop beer. Actually really does remind me of Heady.

DC Brau On the Wings of Armageddon. This was a great accompaniment for the grilling, but not exactly what I had in mind to pair with the steak. Let's see....what would work out well...

    Yes. A thousand times, yes.

22 month Orval. Glorious, and perfect with the meal.

No music for now. Cheers, BAs!

55 degrees and raining here in Frankenmuth, MI - so much for the 100 degrees everywhere! Keeping with the local beer scene with another from Grand Rapids - nicely sour:

3 per skewer...nice...add EVOO, chili lime dry rub and some cilantro and a Dirtwolf...

Finish with a bed of greens, homemade mango pineapple salsa and a Merlot cheese shower...

Serve with a killer alternative tune pretending to be a classic rock anthem...cheers!

This is the closest thing I've ever had to a Beermosa. And I'm not complaining.

This is a nifty little experiment, and I can see drinking a bunch of them during the summer. It's spritzy and slightly fruity, yet a bit sophisticated. As for tonight, it was just something to do with the extra St. Pauli Girls, but I think it was enough of a success to do it again, maybe even with a mid-line (i.e. not too bitter) IPA.

fresh Sosus. My first Toppling Goliath beer besides their collab with Tree House (which was also amazing). This one is super piney with a great velvety body. Freaking great...
