    Enjoyed my first Shipyard Summer Ale at lunch on base. It's got poor reviews here, but I have to say, I really enjoyed it. I thought it was light and refreshing, and hit the hoppy wheat beer right on the nose (it's not very hoppy, but it's got a reasonable presence).

    Now I'm putting @Sixpoint to the test: I'm drinking a Hi-Res with an enjoy by date of 12 July. This thing has been in my fridge a while.

    You know what? It's freaking excellent. I may like it better than when it was fresh! The aroma is still fantastic, and it's still über-sweet and hoppy. It neither smells nor tastes the slightest bit stale.

    So my store got in some KBS and Lunch today. Ready? 1 bottle limit on both. :rolling_eyes:
    Wait. They also got in Parabola. Two bottles. Not a two bottle limit - the store literally got in two bottles. :rolling_eyes::rolling_eyes:
    Manager says he's probably gonna hold a raffle to see who gets to buy 'em. Reasonable enough, I figure.

    From your first post, I thought you were saying "what the hell kind of abomination have I wrought?" because the image is unclear and a little scary without knowing what it was. From your second post, I see that you are thrilled with your jerky and were saying "wow, I can't believe I created something so awesome!" Congrats, and it does sound tasty indeed!
