So this past week has been quite a ride for me, hence the lack of posts. My cousin from Australia visited and stayed with me up until Wednesday night. I haven't seen her for 26 years which is when we were both only 8. Needless to say there was a lot of catching up to do which was a great time. Sadly she only stayed for a few days so now I'm on a mission to visit her within 4 years (it's friggin expensive to fly out there!).

On top of that, a good friend decided to leave today and move on to bigger and better things. He may have been a d-bag but he was a good friend (kidding about one of those). He made my last two years at work enjoyable and I was able to learn a lot. And we got to talk beer all the time. But get this. This dickbag decided to pull a trifecta on me. Not only did he decide to leave today (strike 1) but then he decided to take paternity leave for his child (strike 2) and then he had the audacity to leave me with only one person to talk beer with who only thinks his taste for beer is the right way (strike 3). So, needless to say this week has been both good and bad. Thanks a lot @jpsboom. I'm gonna go drown my sorrows this weekend. Unless, of course, you're up for the #twomenonebeershowerlifpic. If that's the case, I'm in love.
