    Hello everyone.

Just hit up my local off-licence and currently have chilling in my fridge:

    SN Beer Camp #93
    BCBS 2013
    Odell IPA
    The Kernel Columbus x 2
The Kernel Citra vs Amarillo x 2

May leave the BCBS until the end....

Honestly, there's maybe one or two beers I enjoy from Lagunitas. I'm not a hop head, and the hop profiles they use do not sit well with my palette or stomach at all. However, I love this beer:

Crisp, fluffy and refreshing. Everything I could want in a beer.

Saw this and thought I'd give it a try. Probably should have made a different choice.

Cinnabilly, another unique offering from Short's. Good beer but the flavors would be more fitting for a fall release than spring.

Just finished with my awesome daughter's 4th birthday party, and now on to crushing some homebrewed Oatmeal Pale Ale (doing a little side by side with my bottle-conditioned vs. my buddy's kegged; we went in together on a 10 gallon batch a few weeks ago). So far, the bottles are killing it...

Got in a spot of hiking up near Hartford today, in a park known as Devil's Hopyard. Perfect time of year, and here's why - this is what the "waterfall" looked like in the fall of 2012:

Dry; the basin itself almost devoid of water; you can easily walk right up to the rock face. Here's what it looked like today, from nearly the exact same spot:

Several feet worth of water depth, not to mention the obvious difference: an actual waterfall! Beautiful.

Afterward I hit up the Half Door Irish pub in downtown Hartford for some World Cup soccer, chow, and some beer.

Unibroue La Fin Du Monde - lovely and delicious as always; paired with "Cobblestone" sandwiches: sliced steak and mushrooms, drizzled with juice and A1. Yummy!

Finally, finished off a lovely day with a Delirium Tremens, also on tap.

Heard this track for the first time on the way home:

I knew nothing about Killer Be Killed, only seeing the occasional link here courtesy of @Greywulfken, but about a minute in, Max Cavalera's distinctive vocals just screamed out at me. I had no idea this was his new band; very cool!

    \m/ Horns up, BAs! \m/
