This beer isn't bad, nor too adventurous also. Nice floral hops and subtle hints of pineapple and grapefruit on the aroma. Sweet malts dominate with hints of pine and pineapples in the flavor. Very clean resinous pine finish with subtle bitterness. Fairly dry with more lingering burnt sugar in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is par! Medium-light body, soft carbonation.

Overall: I can't bash this beer too much. The malt sweetness could be muted a bit and allow the hop resins shine. This isn't bad by any means. It's almost on the brink of being insanely good. I would rate this a B+, making this brew Worthy!

    Musical Selection:

German Thrash, doesn't get any better than this!

Cheers BAs and have a safe weekend!

Spent the afternoon walking around town and having a beer from Bloomington Brewing Co, Upland, The Tap, and Function Brewing. Now I'm having a delicious steak with one of the three beers I've ever given a 5 to.

If you choose to honor family then keep the bar very high.
    As is befitting Edward.

    Cheers Maria!

Not much going on here on my day off. Just trying to stay motivated for yard work when it's probably triple digits in the sun right now... This beer's probably not the best idea in these conditions, but a buddy just gave it to me today and I couldn't wait to crack it!
Happy Friday Y'all! SCREAM! (So good by the way!)

Had to head to Providence for some routine car maintenance. When in town, I always stop by Julian's:

Apparently they had an Allagash tap takeover last weekend. Featured in my flight, in no particular order: Allagash Interlude, Allagash Odyssey, Gulden Draak, and Dogfish Head 120 min.

Finished off my afternoon with one of my favorite coffee stouts: Peche Mortel.

Jamming to some tunes. There are perhaps 2 or 3 songs (ignoring classical genres for the moment) that, to me, are simply perfect. Not just moving, or emotional, or musical, or powerful; songs that are the BA 5.0 -equivalent; songs which I cannot imagine improving.

This has always been one of those.

    Cheers, BAs!

Foundation small batch Saison single-hopped with Citra, just tapped today at the brewery. Perfect for a hot summer day.
