I'm sticking to 4 vessels, but you will be getting about 100 ounces of great July 4th beers. I wanted to add a few more Independence Day favorites to the box, but the burgers and dogs probably wouldn't survive the trip. I do think I have a few holiday items to add that you are legally prohibited from purchasing in your state. Box will get dropped off tomorrow, and you will have it by Thursday the 3rd.

As I sit here drinking a Black Chocolate Stout from 2009, I'm feeling contemplative about the fact that when this beer was brewed I had only been married a year and a half, and in my house for a year. I didn't have any kids yet and the wife and I were just starting to talk about trying. At the time I was still working my first job out of college, with no particular direction toward anything longterm. I considered myself a beer nerd because I didn't drink BMC, but preferred locals. I think I'd had a saison or two by that point, and I knew that a shaker pint was not always the right choice of glassware... but I still hated IPAs and my experience with stouts ended with Irish ones.

I guess really I'm contemplative about turning 30 in a couple weeks, and I'm taking it out on this beer... I suppose worse emotions have been taken out on a beer so I shouldn't worry too much about it.

For reference if a regional SWTFYW share happens at my place, this is a mediocre precursor to what would happen....
