    So last night on #627 I said I was headed for craft beer wasteland, well here I am!

    Since it's they're independence, the beer and liquor stores have been closed around where I am, so I've been at a bar having a couple Sands and some conch fritters, and then quite a few Coronas. I'm done, peace out BAs! Enjoy the good stuff the USA has to offer!

    good to hear! iv seen their bottles on Maui but its 8-10 dollars a bomber, just couldnt bring myself to buy it

    Stone Ruinten Double IPA. I'm not sure if it's my palate changing over the past year or that the recipe is improving, but this beer is much better than I remember! Big, bitter pine and citrus peel, but also tons of juicy tropical fruits. Just a gigantic hop explosion that hopheads like myself love!

    I found it better than last year (which could have been drier, imo), but not as insanely good as the first year, myself.

    Sounds like a good MI beer trip. If you take 94 on your way from Holland to Frankenmuth you could swing by Dark Horse. Sure it's a couple hours out of the way but it's worth it :slight_smile:. At least hit up Kuhnhenn and Dragonmead on your way back home from Frankenmuth. That should be on your way.
