Problem is other states don't have our ridiculous liquor laws. I am hopeful that there is a difference between serving it at a bar and selling it off sale...

Charleston got it as well so the last 3 migration weeks have had prop
It's usually only on one or two of the nights from what I have gathered so it won't be an all week thing

Can't imagine its an issue, plenty of limited kegs that show up aren't even bottled so how would they have labels approved?

Any event that has 2012 Coffee is hardly underwhelming, IMO.

I'm just glad to have had tasted King Henry and Vanilla already, because those two sampling events have Shitshow written all over them, especially Four Firkins.

Maybe doners to the FF startup program can cash one of their chips in for a 2 oz pour of KH.

So your telling me they are going to sample vanilla for 3 hours? Ha! That's silly. The few bottles they will bring will be gone in a few minutes.

I am really confused with a few of these events.

Best be at the samplings at 4 pm.

Or save yourself the hassle altogether.

Edit: I hope whoever goes gets at least a good pour. I'm betting it won't, but I hope I'm wrong for the people who've never tasted them (King Henry & Vanilla).

I'll be skipping these. People will line up an hour early to get a half ounce pour of these beers. No thanks.

How has it been in other cities? (in terms of quantity I mean. Do they bring 6 bottles or 60?)

Most other cities have had Vanilla and Prop in tap takeovers as bomber pours..prob 6ounces...kind of a let down

In Omaha for the Migration Walk in Benson, '13 Coffee, Backyard Rye, and Prop were kegs. There was one case of Vanilla to be used for 2-3oz pours for the 100 participants at the last stop.

e: Most Prop I've seen in other cities has been draft, while Vanilla/King Henry/Rare have been limited bottle pours.

I messaged them on FB and told them I was a little dissapointed considering what the last 4 migration weeks had during their tap takeovers...If more ppl message them you never know, maybe some prop will show up!

    So...the three beer store tastings

    1) Crowd-funding money grabbers
    2) Sunday sales opposers
    3) National big box chainers

That disappoints me, especially with the amount of great options we have here
