I'm really intrigued by this Citra Saison. On one hand, I love most anything featuring citra hops. However, on the other hand, I have never had a saison that I like.

I picked up a bottle last night and am interested in how this pans out for me.

Just polished off my Citra Saison. It's like a meld of Citra Ninja and a Berliner with a side of funk. Very tasty and refreshing with some kick your ass at 9%. Wife agrees with a firm "this is a good beer"

Good to hear. I usually stay away from saisons but I had a bit of beer karma today and had a bottle given to me. Can't wait to try this!

Totally agree. One of my faves of the day as well. The citra is aroma coupled with the funky saison flavor was excellent...just the right amount of Citra.

just got back in town after a weekend+extra vacation. I'm so glad I found some simcoe lying around. I love a good piney iipa, and simcoe is probably my favorite of the ninja series. This is another terrific batch.

I like it. To me it has a more artistic flair, but keeps it in line with the original. Then again, I didn't get good grades in art class, so take that into account.

Side note, I know non-aged Brown n Stirred was a FwB release, but are any bottles hitting distro? Or did I miss it? Or can I bribe someone for a bottle? You know, with like an non-artistic version of Riverdance or magic tricks that only amaze my 1-year old or something?

I like the logo. Question though- any insight on upcoming barrel aged beers? Tna and imperial hyper dog would be my requests, not that you are taking any ha ha. Oh and ba jones dog has to come back too, thanks!

Cracked open the Citra Saison last night. Between my fiance and I, we both really dislike saisons, but oh wow...we killed that bottle in no time. One of the most refreshing beers I've had in some time.

Oh, also thanks to the Pipeworks guys for passing along my teku glass on Saturday. Simple and easy pickup from the brewery. Very much appreciated.

I'm not really sure why (maybe just nostaligic) but I'm not a fan of the new proposed logo. I say stick with the old one; classic and simple. Maybe that's why, the new logo is rather busy....

@NOTpipeworks didn't your mom tell you, "looks aren't everything. It's what's one inside that counts."

By the way what's inside that Citra Saison bottle is fantastic. Keep up the good work, I'm a consumer no matter what the label looks like.

With that said I'm a keep it simple type, there's a lot going on in the new logo but still pretty good.

I really like the new logo, and it follows suit with all of the great bottle artwork you guys put out. That said, the orginal logo should still somehow be a part of what you guys do since it's so classicly simple and now recognizable.

Your avatar would make a great tattoo or poster. Not sure it would read so well on a beer label format.

not a fan of the new logo. it looks a little to "biker-ish" (if that's a word). not that there is anything wrong with that. just not my thing. it may just be the black/white color. maybe try adding some color to see what it looks like.
