What beer are you drinking now? #650

The version Choc brewing put out was good. I know those guys can kick ass on some, but it seems they are more interested in cranking out new stuff, as opposed to good stuff for at least the last 2 years...

Stone IPA, type of night ....

 

At least you get something that passes for craft at your concert...

 

Roughtail IPA, easily the best hoppy beer from here, with the exception of their Hoptometrist & then an old dear friend I've missed for a year or so, Founders Imperial Stout!

 

Just got home from work and found a 6er of this in the frig, thanks to my wonderful wife. This brew is tasting better than I remember. Cheers

 

First time I've been able to snag Be Hoppy cans. Only a few days out of the brewery and spectacular.

 

Yeaaaa.... @GDawgs34 wrecks it again!

 

I will sum up the afternoon/night. Just watched the sun melt into the ocean on the deck of a beach house in rockaway, ore. Beautiful. Anyway, started with a bomber of pelican's imperial pelican ale, followed by a bomber of their tsunami stout, followed by a few old pals from lagunitas - their ipa.

 

Today's experiment is Fresh Squeezed with Ataulfo Mango!



Going to chill this one for 30 minutes, since the cherry Gose I did wasn't as prominent as I would have liked at 20 minutes.



And voila!



This smells like straight up mango. Good lord, I just want to roll around in this beer. The mango is very well integrated in the taste, not overpowering at all, but enough that it shines. The hop bitterness, notes of grapefruit and malt come through in the finish the balance out the sweetness from the mango. It's pretty divine.

I have had that one before many times, one of my all-time favourite porters!

 

Pretty tasty but more like a porter for sure.

I'm not even an A's fan and as hit as they are they're not gaining ground.

So delicious for a fruit beer. Well balanced. Working my way through the 2 6 packs I bought. Still plenty more.


Awesome IPA always


Also always awesome, Needs wider ditro than where my folks live. But I always gladly stock up on Ohio IPAs with every family visit.


12-13 release is doing fantastic. Wow.
