I opened up my first bottle of Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Pretzel, Raspberry and Chocolate last night. The ratings for it are so-so, but it was a 'WOW' beer for me. I really enjoyed it.

This. I was really impressed by this beer. Prairie hadnt really done it for me with the other beers I had tried (didnt dislike anything, just didnt think they were worthy of the hype), but I really enjoyed this one.

For WOW I'm going with unexpected greatness over last few months. Unhyped beers per say that I was blown away by:
    - Weyerbacher's Riserva (an amazing sour/wild ale, and haven't cared for Weyerbacher much on other offerings)
    - Barley and Hops "BOB" Roggenbier - a local Frederick Microbrew that offers probably the best heffewesein (with rye in place of wheat) I've ever had
    - Great Lakes Chillwave DIPA - it does get some stree cred. on the beer advocate site but I thought it was equally as good as the IPA's/DIPA's that are really hyped up more than Chillwave (Sucks, Hop Ranch, Enjoy By etc).

The Brew Kettle - White Rajah.

No expectations and this one was great! Lucky he sent me a few as extras. Brings back my love of hops after getting lost in stouts for a while.

Ha, I don't consider it beer unless it is over 8% ....

All kidding aside, 2.1% is pretty damned low. You could drink a case of it and drive home.
