I felt this coming on and I was correct. (Predicting the future is easier when you already know what's in your fridge)

 

This right now, about 7days old out of Columbus. Never heard of them but not horrible.

 

Starting with some WI deliciousness tonight:

Oh well - two mediocre beers in a row. And SN Beer Camp didn't make it to the hinterlands yet. Looks like a bad beer week.

 

This dissapeared early last year so I pretty much forgot what it tasted like but I remembered I liked it, and memory serves correct.

 

Would this be considered a double IPA?

New brews

Delicious altbier! Taste of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, light nuttiness, raisin, plum, apple, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Extremely well balanced flavor that is all very nicely robust. Light earthy hop bitterness balances it out; smooth and fairly creamy mouthfeel. I can see myself buying a full 6 of this in the future.


Only took 6 weeks longer, but at least it's 7/22 so pretty darn fresh. I love it just as much as regular sumpin so that means it's also incredible. Super bright hops with tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, lemon zest, floral, grass, and light pine; with some real crisp light-moderate malts of pale cracker/wheat. Moderate bitterness that does not overpower. Smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel. It's nothing but bright hop flavors. Better buy another 6 pack while I have time.


Finally get to have a Lager from founders. Just look at that clarity. Taste of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, apricot, and pine with some moderate pale cracker/bready malt sweetness. Nice earthy pine bitterness on the finish. Very clean lager character. Very smooth and crisp, fairly sticky feel. No cloying flavors at all. Just all around excellent, no complaints at all.
