Time for a mid-day snack: aged Wisconsin cheddar vs aged Vermont cheddar vs Jack's Abbey Mass Rising.

I think the Vermont cheddar wins today, and by a mile. Mass Rising wins everyday. :stuck_out_tongue:

Listening to the new Opeth tracks.

Victory Golden Monkey at the airport. At home, this would be a drain pour.

The temperature outside is creeping up on 100 so I needed something refreshing to drink. Cheers!

I need to get my hands on one or two of these. Wasn’t Skoon’s one of the brewers that left? How is it?

    Without me? For shame!

And now it's time for a Dale's Pale Ale, Stovepipe edition. $19 a six pack at State Line Liquor, Elkton, MD. For the moment, life is good.

Lazy Sunday with the pooches. Took them on a long walk as it’s misting rain and the pups love the cooler weather. Came back and gave them baths whilst jamming to some Phish. Now watching some golf and enjoying a couple of new beers to me.

First up was Perennial The Last Word. It’s almost like a sparkling soured grape/apple juice. Very tasty and kind of enjoy the lesser amount of carbonation in this one vs most sours.

Then moved onto a Founders Dissenter. I like it, don’t love it. I guess I’m not a big fan of lagers unless its pouring Yeungling into beer pong cups...and that just being a matter of circumstance.

Spent yesterday in vt drinking some great beer.

    It's all nbs...

Not bad, but not as complex as I wanted it to be. Hf funk, mild dandelion, little to no honey.

    Onward! Salty Scot

Holy malt! My only issue is that the caramel flavor seems to be completely artificial. I also find myself wishing for more salt.

    Highland Razor Wit

For my second beer of the day, I'm trying a beer local to NC that I picked up on vacation this past week. The aroma was quite compelling and it jumped right out of the glass on pour. It's got the traditional pale-yellow, near-white appearance and there was virtually no head. As for the taste, it's really a traditional wit. Notes of orange peel, banana, clove, and other spices that come with the Belgian style. 3.3/5
