MO-FUCKIN-CRAB-CHIPS (BIGGEST WHALE IN THE BAG) to have with the Dead Rise and a bunch of other snacky snacks and porter BBQ sauce. I seriously started pulling all these chips out of the box and had a Paulie Shore Biodome moment "I have chippies, I have chippies"


And a fallen soldier, it made that particular box smell awesome though.

That is Sunny Side Up. And yeah that Flying Dog was just for the chip pairing. Those Gibbles chips are probably my favorite chips ever. Hope you enjoy.

 

And I miss your avatar. The guys who sat in front of me for the last few years at Soldier Field were exactly like the superfans (I got closer seats this year).

 

Yes, 2012 was printed clearly on the bottle, which is why I missed it.

My wants are heavy on the whales, so no worries about not hitting them! I'm really digging what I have had so far from the box.

 

OK, finally got the scores all added up on the Sherlock Mini-BIF. I know this was a tough one, many didn't give good hints. Some were still unsure of their sender all the way up to the end. So, congrats to @ox1574 with the most correct guesses.

So...there's a local tap-only release tomorrow of an imperial milk stout brewed with chicory and bourbon barrel aged coffee beans. I know of one place doing growler fills, so I think I might try to nab one for my target. I know he enjoyed the base beer, so I think this will be a welcome addition to the final box going out next week

There's also a highly-rated, Texas-brewed, Mosaic-hopped IPA on tap that I think my target would enjoy.

 

What's the point of aging coffee beans in a bourbon barrel?


Also, I'm jelly, because that stout sounds awesome. I'm extra jelly if the IPA is YR.

The game:
The temperature finally dipped into the upper 80s today, so I decided to play a couple rounds of disc golf. I started off this morning at Lester Lorch - Beaver DGC, then got in a second round at Crossroads of Life DGC. Each course is 18 holes, and had a mix of short and long pin positions today. How many strokes did I take for both rounds added together?

No idea what the barrel aging will add, if anything...I would think that the roasting process would kill a lot of the barrel flavor (they barrel age the beans while they're still "green"). Hopes are high though...I'll find out for sure tomorrow night

I got the Big and Lil' in my box- Big was the first one I cracked open and was awesome, cant wait to try their pumpkin beer I've seen a few others get the Big as well, nobody will be sad.

Those PA boys have been crushing it this round.

Jealous, thats the only variant of that I've never had, and if its like the rest of them, your target will be very happy.
