Today has been a great day. Tod Mott's Tributary Brewing Co finally opened to the public in Kittery, ME today. I just found out this morning, and I was planning on getting a bunch of stuff done at home today, but I couldn't pass up the opening of a brewery I've been really looking forward to. They opened at noon and I got there about 20 minutes past. It was quite busy. They only had a pale ale on tap but were planning to have a brown later in the day. I got a 12 oz pour of the pale and a 32 oz growler to bring home. I'll be checking in with that later.






After that I went to Portsmouth Brewery for lunch. I started with a flight of the following: Shea Saison, Murphy's Law Red, 5 C's IPA, Redwood Rye Lager, Chancho Mexican Lager, E.S.B.B. I had already finished the Saison and started he red when I thought to take a pic.




Dirty Blonde with what's left of my hoppy cheese spread.




Chocolate Raspberry Stout with S'mores Cake. This was an Irish dry stout with a noticeable raspberry presence, no chocolate.




After lunch I decided to walk around for a bit before checking out some bottle shops. I went in to Flatbread to take a leak and noticed they had Throwback Coffee Milk Stout on draft. I couldn't resist. I also got a small sample of a Smuttynose maple Saison I did not really care for.

Tributary Pale Ale. The first official release from Tod Mott's (Kate the Great) new brewery. This is very nice for the first release off a brand new system. Great to have you back, Tod. Cheers!

 

Last beer for me, gonna make it a big one.

 

BP Homework Series English IPA, very nice going to have to pick up a few more bottles.

 

This is one of the best stouts i have ever tasted.
