Hotel beer! In Cincy for Reds game and the wife and I's first anniversary. Went to Jungle Jim's before the game and grab a 4 pack of these. First time for this one, they don't distribute this to Indy. Not bad

Watching the Notre Dame game out in Gainesville—ahem, GO IRISH! BEAT WOLVERINES!—and enjoying it quite a bit. Went to First Magnitude and had their Drift (a dark English mild) and now I'm at Lillian's Music Store, enjoying Swamp Head's Big Nose on tap.

    Saude, galera! AND GO IRISH!

You crack me up! Sound like the crew I grew up with. Liking everything I've had from Bruery so far.

    RIP Jason

Now onto the Central Waters Oktoberfest offering, it's enjoyable as well. Not sure that this or the Jacks Abby are up to the standard of the Ayinger Oktoberfest but they were both enjoyable as well.

Celebrating today as the high school football team that I coach had a great win last night, pitched a shut out for the first time in 5 years! We won 17-0. The kids played a great game, so I celebrated by starting the night with a Twisted Root Burger and a growler of The Lone Pint's very delicious Yellow Rose:

Then had a most distasteful Rabbit Hole Centennial Pale Ale (drain pour):

Followed that up promptly with a True Vine Rose City Pale Ale:

Now drinking a Smuttynose Finest King IPA:

I'm on my last 3 beers of the SN fall 12 pack (not all in one day!), and all of it was awesome.

 Starting to wrap up my Wednesday night. Going to eat some of my green coconut oil soon, and knock out a few episodes of the new Trailer Park Boys season, which was put on Netflix yesterday in its entirety. Cheers!

I'm trying New Belgium Tour de Fall for the first time. I am pretty impressed. It's a very nice, smooth, easy drinking pale ale... yum.

Three Floyds Chevalier Bertrand du Guesclin. It's an American Sour Ale aged in Wine Barrels with Blueberries. Compared to what Floyds has put out in past for sours, this is absolutely great. I'm guessing lacto and brett were used, but who knows. Tons of funk, berry tartness, a light blueberry presence, slight sweetness, oak, vinous qualities from the wine barrel, and maybe even some fruity hops. Becoming more funky as it warms. I would appreciate this sour from any brewery, but the fact that it's from a local brewery makes it even more enjoyable. It's been out for a while, so if you haven't gotten it yet, do it soon!
