Also for those looking in Chicago, just came from Bottles and Cans and they had Rock Bottom, Citra, and BA Murderous as of 15 minutes ago. Seemed like it'd be around a bit longer for those searching.

Just left Binny's LP... same thing. Multiple cases of Citra and Rock Bottom. Didn't see BA Murderous, however wasn't looking for it, so there may be some. Either way, it all should last a while.

Beer Temple had a bunch of BA Murderous, less (on the shelf, anyway) of Rock Bottom. I loved, really loved, Rock Bottom.

FWIW, I like the heaven hill barrel release better than the Elijah Craig version.

This one, IMO, is pretty ready to drink. Age will still benefit but it's not like a fresh 2009 BCBS. I'd actually say this is similar to CWBBW in some ways. Pretty similar drinkability at release and similar barrel characteristics. I'd toast both barrels more and they'd be perfect.

Awesome awesome beer PWs. Thank you. Got 2. Saving one for down the road.

    September 7, 2014 Update

This week we begin distribution of Batch 500. Thank you for your continued support from Batch #1 to Batch #500 and beyond. Really, friends, you're the best.
We begin ludicrous speed distro on these beauts on 9/7

    NEW! BICENTENNIAL FALCON
    BATCH #500!!!
We brewed this very important batch in memory of our late, great, '95 Astro delivery van, we lovingly called the "Bicentennial Falcon". This is a Beige Ale brewed with, you guessed it, Centennial and Falconers hops. Be sure to enjoy this tasty tribute while breathing in exhaust and enjoying a distinct lack of air conditioning and radio!!! Buckle up!
    $9.99, 22 oz, 9% ABV

    Saison Du Soleil
We brewed this light, refreshing, saison with gallons of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and zest. It's a perfect brew to pair with a frozen pizza you've recently harvested from your freezer, or that vibrant, green, salad you foraged from Mariano's (or Jewel, what have you). What we're trying to say, is that it's a perfect accompaniment to the final moments of sweet, sweet, Chicago summer.
    $9.99, 25.4 oz, 7% ABV

    Pipeworks Citra
Our Imperial IPA hopped with so many, really just so many, pounds of Citra hops is one of our favorites to brew, mostly because it's one of our favorites to drink. Cheers! Drink early and often.
    $10.99, 22oz, 9.5% ABV

    On the Brewing Horizon:

Derketo - a hoppy Belgian IIPA
Guavanatrix - Amarillo hopped pale ale brewed with guava
Pipeworks Ninja vs Unicorn - hoppy DIPA

Picked up a bottle of MariLime and Bunny at Binny's Naperville. Supposedly they were out of Citra, Rock Bottom, and Raspberry. I wanted to compare them to the TG citra beers. :slight_frown:

Marilime Law is so very good so at least it's not a total loss.

Are the barrel aged beers going to be in 22oz or 12 oz going forward? Given the choice, I would much rather have the $9 12oz over the $17 bombers.

I was able to taste Batch #500 and BA Murderous at Screw City Beerfest in Rockford Saturday and both were highlights of the day. Hoping I can find some bottles soon.

The new release of BA Murderous was released in 22oz bombers & ranged between $15.99-17.99 (bottle shop) & $20-24 (bar/restaurant). There were 300 (6 bottle cases) released to bars & bottle shops. This version was aged in, 30 year old Heaven Hill barrels where as the last release was aged in 12 year Elijah Craig barrels.

That's weird, I got my $14.99 bottle directly from a 12 bottle case.
