    Smuttynose Old Brown Dog

    Just as the name implies, this poured a rich brown color with very little head. The aroma is quite nice; that of dark fruits, caramel sweetness, and malts. The taste was a a lackluster version of the aroma. It is a very milky beer with slight carbonation, but unfortunately, it tastes a little bit flat. It did get a little better, though, as it warmed up a little bit. 3.15/5

    [​IMG]My continuing quest into Oktoberfest beers brings me to a home town brew. One of the founding fathers of this company used to bring his vehicles to me when he needed auto repairs. Sadly he has aged to the point where he no longer is able to drive. Nice beer.

    I generally do not get into session beer, but I really dig Pizza Port Swami's IPA, so I decided to try Pizza Ports session offering. Certainly on par with Founder's All Day and Stone Go-To. :slight_smile:
