    A mellow, one bomber kinda evening. The feel isn't as heavy as I'd like on this local stout, but I'm pleasantly surprised considering it's relatively low score here. Cheers everyone.

    Sinuses have been terrible today, making the past few days (of bad sinuses) seem like nothing :angry:. I had been really looking forward to trying a new local IIPA today (my Saturday), and I'd be damned if that was gonna change :stuck_out_tongue:

    From description: "Featuring Golden Hops" and "A wasteful amount of the finest hops we could secure"; Needless to say, I was a little curious about it. After tasting, "golden" must mean the most resiny hops available. All dank and tropical flavors.

    I get most of my greater stouts in beer trades or a short trip to Missouri. I've had BA abraxas, kbs, black note,bcbs,peche mortel, milf.I still have a lot of awesome stouts cellared.

    The Trillium is a really well done wild rye Saison, but I love this 1955 brown ale. I always tend to think rye works better in sazerac.
