Good day BAs! Watching Champions League soccer and enjoying a Hop Goddess from Offshore Ale brought back from a visit to Mass. Cheers all!

I'm reminiscing as Avery was one of the first breweries I ever visited and I haven't had one of their beers in a while. Fascinating contrasting them with a Coors tour on the same trip. I need to plan another trip to Denver as it's been nearly five years. This beer is huge but tasty.

I make it there from time to time. Wish I could get there more often since it is about 10 miles from my house.

[IMG]This is different to say the least. Has a smoked meat flavor. The 4 pack was cheap enough, 9.3 abv. $6.99. Gonna wait and see how I feel about it as it warms up a bit.

Really slow day, but I'm here for you, Advocates! I'm trying out a new stout from Goose Island: The Muddy, an imperial stout with licorice.

It's good but not great. It's just sweet enough for a dessert stout, but not overpoweringly so. "Pairing" it with some Five Guys takeout.

    Cheers, BAs!

    This beer is good.
I saw this band at Mountain Jam over the summer. They were good.
    Things are good.

This poured an intense molasses-black color with a very thin brown head. The aroma is of roasted coffee beans and very, very subtle dark fruits. As for the taste, this beer is incredibly milky. It truly resembles motor oil in consistency. The coffee flavor is definitely present in the taste, and there is a strong roasted aftertaste. The one downfall of this beer is that is almost tastes a little burnt. 3.75/5
