    Special night tonight - was fortunate enough to try Evil Twin/Prairie Bible Belt on draft, followed up by de Struise's Black Damnation I Black Berry Albert. All kinds of (stout) winning this evening.

    Looks tasty, but there is just something wrong with drinking a festbier out of plastic cup... I know it is 'normal' back home in the US (where ppl would otherwise steal/break/fight with/injure themselves), but it's not something I look forward to returning to.

    Yeah, you'll find yourself going through bouts of depression once back. Avoid " Oktoberfests" here as they are for the mot part pale imitators of the real thing...
