'Been a while since I've given an update. We're moving at a good pace now. I know there are plenty of naysayers because our bottle shop didn't get open... but I do feel good knowing we currently employee 17 people now! (15 full time, 2 part time) Here's where we are at with the new place (and bottle shop actually... ) :

- 30 bbl brewhouse drawings are approved, 50% paid for, and will be delivered in late December or early January
- canning line deposit is in and that should also be delivered in late December or early January
- boiler is 30% paid for and also expected in December
- 90 and 30 bbl tanks are 50% paid for and December as well...
those are the major expenses so it feels good to know that the big stuff is in progress and imminent!

we're hoping we can have everything ready to go by the end of January but inspections and licensing my take us through March... we're thinking April 1st for beer at the latest but it's hard to know... attached below is a low-res plan of the production brewery project for a quick sneak peak... it's big =)

in other news we should have access to the bottle shop site next week... but unfortunately because we're completely focused on the production facility we've kinda missed our window on the bottle shop for this year. April 1st would be nice for that as well...

Picked up two of Cinnamon Beer-d O's and Mosaic today. My store was down to a few bottles remaining of Beer-d O's and they had only been on the shelf for an hour or so.

 

Enjoyed the Beer- O the other night after returning from our honeymoon. Absolutely loved the word search on the label, as well.

I hope this is the beginning of a constant cereal-themed line of PDubs beers. Fruit Loops? Honey Nut Cheerios (I imagine almonds and honey somehow go together but c'mon now, I don't know flavors and things)?

 

Still think a barrel aged Toasty Nut would be the perfect Christmas gift

 

The BA Toasty Nut (Experimental) was the highlight of the tap-takeover a few months ago.

here is to hoping there is a bottle of beer-d o's left on a shelf someplace when I come down for the Pinball Expo in mid October.

 

My local guy said they were flying off the shelves...I think it might be a little tough to find come Mid-October especially at the larger liquor stores that carry PW like Binny's. Just an FYI - not sure how close you are being in WI but might want to see if you can find anything sooner.

 

anyone know if binny's on grand has the cinnamon? @blue-dream

thanks. i actually follow beth. i got bombarded with tweet texts the other day messing with my settings. i swear i recalled she got it in. my initial post was meant to say if they still had it in. i didn't even bother to check her feed though, oops. looks like they haven't gotten it in.
