I'd do multiple likes on this one, Ohio IPAs are most excellent.

Austin Beerworks Pearl Snap, a really nice German style Pils. Definitely hits the the spot when you're in the mood for something lighter.

Revisiting some reviews as usual for fridays

Absolutely incredible weizenbock! Dense head and lacing lasted forever. Taste of big banana, raisin, plum, cherry, clove, caramel, toast, toffee, brown bread, light nuttiness, herbal, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of yeast spice on the finish. Awesome balance and complexity of malt and yeast ester flavors. Smooth and crisp finish and very drinkable for 8.7%. Absolutely love this. Time to go buy a full 4 pack for sure.

Fantastic Biere de Garde. Taste of tart lemon peel, orange zest, apricot, pear, green apple, white pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, hay, straw grass, wet wood, musty funk, light leather, and yeast earthiness. Nice sizable yeast spice and light tartness on the finish. Very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly finish. A ton of nice complexity. Great malt, yeast, and oak flavor balance. Always loved this stuff.

My last Fritz & Ken's. 4.5 years old, and just absolutely beautiful. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, toast, dark bread, tobacco, and char/smokey malt with some light-moderate raisin and plum fruits. Very dense and robust on roasted malts with great roasted bitterness/sweetness balance. Absolutely amazing as expected. I can only hope for a reincarnation someday. Maybe a clone is out there too

    Finishing off a Lagunitas Pils.

Listening to one of my favorite records. The Late Great Townes Van Zandt (witch was not a posthumous album, and an even cooler back cover than the famous Johnny Cash middle finger:slight_smile: ) Though I can't find the back cover on youtube :slight_frown:
