I loved the beer, but I was super thirsty and itching for it. I'd like to try it again. I can see why it doesn't appeal to many drinkers here, but it's right up my alley. I know you're not a fan of Sam, but I'd be curious to have one along with a Boston Lager. Cheers.

Pipeworks Brewing Mosaic Double IPA. Really excited to try this as I love Pipeworks and mosaic hops. It is definitely a match made in heaven. Gigantic dankness, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, melon, floral, resinous pine, and peach. A nice carmel sweetness to balance everything out. At 10%, which is bigger than most ninja series double IPA's, this has no hint of alcohol in the taste. This may not only be one of my favorite Pipeworks beers, but one of my favorite mosaic hopped beers that I've ever had the pleasure of trying. Really shows how complex and amazing mosaic hops can be. Seek this one out!

Stopped by The Bruery for a taste of the new and epic So Happens It's Tuesday w/ Coconut:

Then went next door and picked up a Racer 15. (Oh, and RIP to my Lagunitas lighter/bottle opener that treated me well until it blew up like a Pinto being rear ended by a VW Bug. I don't think I'll have that problem with this new Bruery opener).

    Cheers!:

Thinking Schalfly pumpkin ale if it's cold. Or maybe a Tinman Brewery (Indiana) Overlord DIPA.

Just got home from a little vacation Up Nort' Wisconsin. Took a day and ran to Duluth/Superior for some biking (got a hell of a workout in those two towns on a fixed gear), some photos, a few beer stops, and lunch. I'm just getting into my first beer since getting home. A growler as a matter of fact.

Minnesota Nice, Centennial single hop, from Fitgers in Duluth. It's low(ish) in alcohol, flavorful as hell, and going down in a hurry. Munching on some Spanish chorizo from a cool little smokehouse up there for sustenance.

For all the BA hockey fans out there, if there is a phrase that describes my reaction to this beer, I defer to none other than a quote from Darren Pang - "HOLY JUMPIN!" It be good.
