Hey duderoo/as. I had a pint of First Magnitude's new Pisces IPA (a really good, straightforward galaxy hopped IPA with solid fundamentals) at the source in Gainesville, and now I'm having a can of Sixpoint's Sensi Harvest at home, watching old Top Chef with the lady. Because that's how I do. Saude!

Figured this was good way to end the night. Hoping that the USA will at least make it a reasonable deficit in the Ryder Cup tomorrow since they're down 4 points, and 8.5 from the win, but we'll see. But before I start up the Xbox, time for some:

Getting in my NA review. This was pretty solid considering the style. Aromas were pleasant and balanced with caramel/bready malt and earthy hops. Taste of cracker, toast, cereal, caramel, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Minimal bitterness on the finish. Very crisp and dry finish. Just okay on flavors. Pretty bland/watery but not horrible. Pleasant and pretty enjoyable overall for the style. This is going to be one of my top rDev% for sure:stuck_out_tongue:

Really damn good pale ale! Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, blueberry, pineapple, pine, herbal, floral, grassy hops and some moderate cracker/bready malt balance. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with a great malt/bitterness balance overall. Very smooth, crisp, and lightly slicky mouthfeel. Extremely delicious.

Another damn good Emelisse stout. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, toast, toffee, dark bread, light nuttiness, licorice, raisin, plum, and light smoke/char. Good amount of roasty bitterness on the finish. Very creamy and moderately slick mouthfeel with low carbonation. Well hidden alcohol strength. Good bitterness/sweetness balance of roasted malt flavors. Really damn tasty.

This is awesome! Taste of caramel, toffee, toast, chocolate, biscuit, nuttiness, raisin, plum, vanilla, coconut, oak, and moderate red wine/bourbon presence and a bit of pepper/clove yeast spiciness. Barrel flavors are extremely well integrated with good presence; but have awesome balance with the base Belgian Brown ale. This was incredible. A pretty cheap bomber buy too, might grab another and cellar it.

Wow! Sharing this Maine colloboration beer with my wife and we are loving it. A bit pricey for sure but it is a hoppy belgian style beer that is quite delicious. We are total fans of all three of these breweries so we knew we could not lose. Cheers!

I had the same experience, only I bought a mini-keg. I was expecting something different.

This one is interesting for sure. Not sure how I feel about it. Probably aged too much to enjoy the Hop Devil portion of this beer.
