    It's an incredible Fall day in SE New England; 39F this morning, up around 60F the rest of the day. I'm recharged and ready for another beer. This one has been in the cellar since September of last year...

    I'm taking DFH up on their "Ages well" claim on this bottle. I love, love, love Burton Baton fresh, but I haven't had it in ages, it seems. Well, they aren't wrong; this is damn tasty. It's a different beer; it tastes (and smells) more like an Old Ale than an oak-aged DIPA, but it isn't the slightest bit stale. Very nice. I prefer it fresh, I think.

    This was a real treat to find in the supermarket in Chamonix. Problem was the missus took a shine to it and claimed the second bottle. Capped and corked this was a chance to try a left of field brew. Nice.
