    But lookit how close they played Denver - arguably one of the top 5 (?) teams in the league...
    (and granted, the Jets were home, but still...)

    Football moment: the Jets need a real QB - Geno and Mike are just passersby... Rex, for all his faults, can draw in talent, but without a franchise QB, it's all moot.

    Drinking, fucking around online, listening to tunes, and (half-heartedly) watching football...

    Highland's 20th Anniversary American Saison. Reviews started popping up for this in July so I assume this isn't the freshest bottle, but I still am quite happy with it. Would have loved to have checked this out when the hops were at their freshest though.

    NoDa Hop Drop 'N Roll IPA. Although close to a month old, still a very nice hop presence. Getting lots of grapefruit juice and peel, orange, good amount of pine sap, slight pineapple, slight mango, and carmel from the malt. Nicely balanced, yet the hop bitterness and flavors still come the the forefront. Lots of people talk highly of this beer and for good reason. One of my favorites.
