Clearly it's heavy, even got instructions how to lift safely.

That looks exactly like the boxes that we get in my lab for solvents. It holds 4x4L bottles. So they're built tough. Actually considered taking some home too for shipping haha

Is that... a giant candy corn?

That is definitely a giant candy corn painted up by my wife. "Legend has it giant candy corn can ward off porch bombs....." Clearly they are malfunctioning.

Everybody else was so focused on the box that they didn't even notice that...

Awesome box from @ninjembro arrived on my porch, which now is sagging, today. He took it upon himself to ensure I'm properly introduced to the BIF and the world of TROEGS beer.

So, from Left to Right I received:
    Java Head
    Storm King x2
    Sunshiner Pils
    Master of Pumpkins x2
    Lil' Gruesome
    Big Gruesome
    LaGrave x2
    Troegenator Doublebock x2
    The Mad Elf
    Perpetual IPA
    Colossus
    Martin's BBQ Waffle Potato Chips
    Amazing TROEGS glass

There are 2 items missing from this picture. The 2nd bag of Martin's BBQ chips....which I enjoyed with my brunch of pizza, and are damn tasty. The 2nd Java Head was accidently opened and poured pefectly into the new TROEGS glass. Since it's already in the glass, guess I'll just have to drink up....This is shaping up to be a very nice "home office day".
Can't wait to try all these beers. The only beer of these I've had are the Storm King, which are great. Can't wait to try the rest for the first time . Thanks again @ninjembro. Now to get to work and start posting on Untappd.....

Yeah, I stalked your hads on here and saw you rated storm king pretty favorably, and even though it's available in your area, I have plenty, so figured I'd throw a few in just because, IMO, it's just a damn good beer and you can never go wrong with having some on hand. I opted for Martins instead of crab chips (which I would have sent utz which I've seen pop up a couple times in pics already on here) just because I enjoy martins so damn much and everyone I've introduced to them enjoy them a lot. Glad you're enjoying the lot!

Those Martins are extremely good. Arguably top 2 BBQ chip I've ever had. And that's high praise from a chip connoisseur like myself.

It might not be your target's top want, but it's pretty far up there... just sayin.....

Not even trying to be pedantic (for once ), but is that really 2014 Backwoods Bastard already? I thought that didn't hit shelves until November?!

How in god's name were you up at 6 am????

I do this ALL the time

Plan Bee was just getting some good press in the SWTFYW thread, I suppose the fact that it's as limited as you say contributes to the high trade value that was being referred to as "too high" ... but that apparently wasn't a mark against the quality, just the asking price

Stalkers have to get up early in the morning if they want to get shit done.

By the by I would have chosen a different belt with those shoes this morning.

This should be more disturbing than it is...
This however is way MORE disturbing than it should be, because I had a black belt already in my jeans and put on brown boat shoes anyway...... #restrainingorder

    The Backwoods Bastard was 2013

And yeah I think the scarcity is what drives the asking price up -- like I said, I typically get 2 bottles of anything they sell, but that's partly because I like helping out local guys, and the owner/brewer is a really good guy. I think they are a cool thing to include in a BIF like ours, and/or an awesome extra, but I wouldn't try to hold somebody up over it. I have certainly liked everything of his I've tried, but it's more for the uniqueness.

I am interested in seeing what the guys I've sent it to (most of him are more experienced tasters than me) think of it.

So this is just a shot in the dark, but I just read a post that said The Bruery had a public sale of White Chocolate yesterday. I've always wanted to try this beer and only had the experience of receiving an infected 2013 bottle. Was just wondering if anybody happened to have a line on one of these for trade? Thanks!
