Already drank the 2014 White Chocolate that I had access to It was good, don't get me wrong, but I don't get people losing their mind over it. I have a bottle of the infected 2013 that was given to me... really should open that up (along with another bottle or two that I -know- are infected) and do a horizontal of known infected beers

 

That would be a pretty awesome infected flight. The infected 2013 WC wasn't "bad" and was still drinkable, but you could tell there was a big difference between this and an intended sour beer. The edges were just so sharp and all over the place unlike a very well rounded and carefully crafted sour. I've just been ISO the WC for the experience, to me it sounds delicious and if it's even half of what a Chocolate Rain was like, it would still be great.

 

A nice little package has been delivered in TX. They say everything is bigger in Texas, so a not so little package will be coming next week. And for the record-I really really hate the Cowboys!

 

Can't wait to get home! Visiting my hometown this weekend for a wedding, plan to share a couple of your beers with them. I'm not a Cowboys fan either

I think my poor attempt a copying the hints @kgncfl used may have been railroaded by the dreaded FedEx account updates....oh well, hope the beer makes up for it.

 

I actually thought it might be me when you laid out what you were sending. You mentioned you were shooting for IPA but then went with Stouts.

Then hints one and two I got, but hint #3 which I was using to confirm (I also thought you were copying me as a hint) I couldn't connect to a Keith at all. When 4 rolled around I knew it was me.

5 & 6 are obvious.

So you had me at #1 & 2 lost me with 3 and got me back with #4.

 

So with no warning and for no apparent reason, @valrxman felt I needed some 11-day-old Jai Alai, and made it happen. Fortunately, he used an awesome "6-pack shipper" so it'll be easy to return the favor.

edit: Some of this is already in the fridge and will be drank today. Also, it will be a little more than 11 days old upon receipt, but my target will be getting some pretty damn fresh Jai Alai as well.

 

I would take a bath in that tonight.

 

My face is going to Along with some other awesome hoppy beers I've acquired/been gifted recently, this has been an AWESOME month for me.

 

I know you know this already, but that Square Grouper needs to be consumed fresh as well. So damn delicious

 

Yeah, I've been blessed with a ton of hops in the last week or so: Founders Dark Penance, Toppling Goliath Sosus, Golden Nugget, and Hopsmack, PW Square Grouper, CCB Jai Alai, Fiddlehead Mastermind, Captain Lawrence Pale & IPA, FFF Space Station Middle Finger, Broo Doo, and Zombie Dust, Night Shift Morph... and they ALL have to get drank fresh... this is going to be a GREAT weekend.

As a little hint I will be up in Michigan the following week-end, including trips to some pretty famous breweries. If you want in on the Sixterhood AND you have a brewery you want me to hit leave me that note and I will try to get it in.

(Oh I might be going to a certain Munster IN brewery as well).

 

Damn it, this was the 5,000th post and I had something already to go stating that I beat @Lehighace06 to the punch and I missed it (had to run to the liquor store to follow up on a tweet about a new rum barrel aged Pipeworks beer, totally worth it).

Drinking triple sunshine with @devilfluff rihht now. My life is horrible.

 

about to open a.... something. It's the weekend. Tonight is the only night of the weekend I can really drink. Thinking yards grand cru since I picked that up a while back and have no clue what to expect of it (based on my past experiences with yards beers, it'll probably be average)

EDIT It's between that, ommegang take the black, Victory V-12, chocolate oak aged yeti, or pumking. The only one of those I've had before are pumking. Any suggestions?
