    I love this beer's aroma! Worldclass status! I love this part in that movie. Donald Sutherland screaming in that movie with taps being played in bagpipes. Classic twist!

    Hardywood Pale Ale. Nice grapefruit rind, pine, and mucho resinous bitterness on the palate for a PA.

    Sixpoint Sensi Harvest. Smooth, quaffable, leaning towards light herbal and pear flavors.

    Two excellent examples that put "session" IPAs to shame....

    Man, they just don't get much better than this! Very rich and malty with a lingering dry finish, hints of tobacco, oak, nuts, dried figs, even some spice. A real pleasure.

    Throwing back a @Sixpoint Resin I can't believe I left in my fridge. This thing is all of about 2 months old; that's ancient by the standards of how long a Resin usually lasts in my house. :wink:

    Oh, and it's absolutely, perfectly delicious at two months old. Some (D)IPAs fall off fast; this isn't one of them.

    I like the band, but that song in particular is just phenomenal. Great touch for the harmonic progressions; the unrestrained anger fluidly flowing into melody; just super cool, and keeps you guessing, while never losing its aggressive character.

    Slowing it down quite a bit with some Storm Corrosion. Yeah, I posted this on NBS yesterday; I'm still listening to it. (Well, I mean, I took a break at some point....)

    Two years of mostly good times, as much as things change with new people, beers, whatever; its cool how similar the energy remains. Even though the fun starts at 8am and not 8pm its all all good with a beer. Cheers to everyone who contributes to this thread keeping it interesting.
