Idk what to tell you man..what part of CT? Fresh seahag cans lately have been superb. Draft as well in the Hartford area.

Also just from my personal experience of always having nebco in my fridge for the last couple years, I can tell you their batches are either not very consistent, or maybe they are constantly tweaking recipe. Hag is drinking better than Gandhi right now..in cans at least. I want the bot back from 6 months ago!

Voice text.....not English class. Sorry guys! Yes , tried it. Different beer. Great beer but different. Not speaking about cans just the draft. This was never filtered, right? Well now it is. Plan B Glastonbury, Max Amore Glastonbury, 2Bros Salem. If I'm alone on this then I guess I'm crazy and sorry to waste your time.

Maybe I'll have to go to Plan B Glast today for lunch, for, you know, scientific research.

The cans I got dated 10/15 of Gandhi are incredible. Sea Hag doesn't come close.

That said, although hag fluctuates from batch to batch, it's always in the same realm and I can always drink one and tell it's a Sea Hag. Maybe it's Hartford area kegs of sea hag they just released, because in FC it's tasting great as always.

Picked up a 6 pack canned 10/20/2014 and I thought it was fantastic.

The same situation w Bot over the last two weeks. It's filtered differently, color change, isn't the same although it is still a good beer.

While I love NEBCO, their biggest problem is the inconsistency of their beers. They really do vary too much from batch to batch. Sometimes this is a good thing, as they really hit some of them way out of the park. Other times the beers seem to miss the mark. Would be nice if they could just dial it in and have the same beer each time they brew it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Having some Gandhi on tap at the moment. It seems a little paler in color and is a little more bitter...still a very good brew but not what I remember. My very recently canned Sea Hags taste as usual.

Haven't had the Sea Hag since maybe Jan/Feb, and probably only 6-8x ever... But grabbed a fresh 6-pack this weekend and have to say this is the best I've ever had it outta the can. Damn tasty:

I agree the canned version is the same and damn awesome. The draft right now.....different beer.

I miss the old recipie. In the last year the recipie jiggering made this beer lose all of its bite. Used to be one of my favorites and now I'm really not into it anymore.

Part of the problem I have noticed is stores hoard sea hag and bot.

I got a growler of Hag the week before last and it tasted/looked different from usual to me, to an extent. Less grapefruit/orange concentration, and it poured pretty much clear rather than turbid. That said, it wasn't that different from usual, and anyone who knows Nebco knows part of the fun is the variance in beer-sometimes you hit the jackpot!

I attest that there have been one or two GBot batches that were just about the best DIPA I have ever had...the usual Gandhi is on point, but every once in a while the Bot hops in the phonebooth and comes out with it's cape on.

Also, any Sea Hag, GBot, or Supernaut fans: I heavily urge you to try Fat Ten Er 11, which I am fondly calling Gandhi-Naut. Key player hops from each of those three brews doing their respective thangs; drink it, its official.
